Have taped few clips of my shaping sessions. Good for taping, bad mechanics. I think for time being I will try to train with one dog only and crate second downstairs. Also am chatty too much still even if I am paying some attention to it. Dog is really not actively engaged in tugging so need to run more before offering brief tug.

run thru
Am upset with myself. Both boys have decent start line but our box work is serious hole. I DID NOT TRUST EITHER DOG not to bolt out of box or change position and as a results was very late on front cross with Che- sorry buddy, mommy messed it up.
Leo blew entrance to the weaves-,still no sure of his independence- need some more work on it.
Have sat on run thru watching others. some better than others, seen few mistakes I do too. Talked to Marianne today, tired of seeing her messing up that RC with her pup. Do not know if it will do her any good- can I teach people? Couple people at class nice bu clueless, have high energy dogs, both dogs have same pattern- run wild, have zoomies after each obstacle yet handler continues to send then to next obstacle. I want to ask them- why do the continue to build crap on crap... get crappy response on one obstacle and then send their dog as a reward to the next... they really need to stop chaining obstacles, return back to shaping single obstacles with responses they want and ONLY then allowing dog to the perform 2 obstacles in the row. Hate to see them in beginners forever but do not see how they can work it otherwise. Doubt I can be nice explaining that though... so just shut up?
Tried recording myself today at shaping session boy do I suck! Why the heck I am so cheerleading? Pls stop me.
Am working on making routine with Che on transition in and out of the run. VERY IMPORTANT. need to do better. Dennis was running before me, asked to hold Kelly- I think I glared at him nasty. I know it is not his fault that I can not explain that I need to work with Che and figure out routine. First run Che was distracted in teh beginning so whatever I did he was not focused. Second run, yeah we had two- Che was looking at Sammy leaving, again, not focused. Great feedback buddy. Some day I am hoping to be a number uno in your life and that is when we can compete...
Both boys we need that D of the DASH upped up... shall I make a necklace of live squirrel for the runs?

puppy training
Have been shaping puppy today. What a fun thing to do! Coallie is most receptive pup. Few things noted- he was offering various behaviors, sit, down, back up then stopped and started barking in frustration-gotcha! Made him work through that. He also does not want to tug in presence of the food anymore- bad sign. better up that excitment.

de ja vu
Had interesting experience this morning at pooch park. About 2 years ago when Che was a puppy I have met this guy with his 2 goldens in pooch park, I though it was unbelievable, he would put one dog into down and train/ throw ball/ do tricks with another, then switch. Hand signals only. His goldens never paid attention to any other dog running around them. I thought to myself WOW!
This morning was second time I have seen this guy. And here I was with my two monkeys... and you know what? I can do all of that too... I put one boy into sit and ask for behavior from other one, I did tricks etc.
Felt real good.

Progress and regress
Sometimes things better and sometimes they are not... Leo was great during his obedience. I asked him to behave and not growl and he listened, sat as good boy would...
OTOH Che abandoned me for crumble of the food at start up line... WTH? IS that is where his value is? Did not I transferred ANY value to agility? Because this morning both boys were in a down and I put bowls in front of them with breakfast. They stayed down nicely, so I picked up kitty, which is Che's nemesis, Leo is ok. Both boys held well. I released them to bowls and what do you know, after slurping his food in 20 seconds Che started running frantically looking for kittly. So this time Da mama came first, food second and kitty third!

teaching dog tricks
LMAO, we just returned from chiro, / Che is limping again and I am thinking of starting doxy on him since I've run out of ideas/ but that is not what was funny. Melissa was doing Che's laser on hind legs, sitting on her knees behind him when Che started to climb up her body with his rear paws. See I've been teaching him to do handstand with back legs to the wall so he figured out he could do some tricks to earn food. Initially he just kept raising his hind leg up but then he moved up with his whole behind.... right into chiro face
I was laughing so hard, but I do not think my chiro was that happy
